There are so many people that I often encounter on a daily basis who impact my life in ways I never mention.

There was a dark haired gentleman I encountered a few days ago who helped me with a decision; to take a longer route or a shorter route to my destination. I had planned on taking the longer route out of convenience and principle, but he convinced me to take the shorter route, which was to my immense benefit. Unfortunately, I do not know this man’s name or how to thank him. Had I chosen not to write about him, it is likely I would have forgotten about him entirely. The knowledge he, as well as others I encountered, shared with me made my days a little brighter.

I doubt even the subject of this piece will read this, but I thank you, sir.
